1st Game: Megawide Excellence excelled in a lop-sided victory over Thermovar Alley Piperz: 57 - 35
Host, Thermovar Alley Piperz found Megawide Excellence too hot to handle and trailed from beginning until the end of the game. The Excellence squad poured in points after points by a fluid offensive and likewise limited the Piperz' points through defensive plays. They (Excellence) apparently dominated The Piperz in all departments from points to rebounds. Megawide Excellence seemed to be considered as the Team to Watch in this tournament.
2nd Game: Filinvest Dream Makers won over Amici Heat in cliffhanger double overtime: 47 - 45
A dream-match preview between the Filinvest Dream Makers and Amici Heats complimented the Opening Games of the Invitational Sportsfest 2011. The game is indeed a cliffhanger putting fans and supporters of each team at the edge of their seats. Several lead changes takes place where Amici Heats forced two "overtimes" until two missed free throws by Alex Yao off a foul before the final buzzer that could have forced another "overtime" for the third time.
3rd Game: Sogo All Stars imposed offensive over TCGI Patriots: 56 - 43
TCGI Patriots gallantly put a stand against Hotel Sogo All Stars but found the offensive might of All Stars to Strong. Hotel Sogo quintet dominated most of the quarters after trailing in the first quarter. They (All Stars) also out-rebounded the Patriots and fluidly executed offense through their heralded playmaker. All Stars won over Patriots at the final buzzer.
4th Game: DCCD Hunks buckled under high pressure offense from JSR Pascals and lost by 7 points: 53 - 46
DCCD Hunks must felt the Mega - Pascals of pressure offense from JSR Pascals that handed them their first game loss. JSR Pascals step on the gas at the opening of the Fourth quarter after they trailed the Hunks for most of the quarters. They have forced a mark into scoring column along with Megawide Excellence, Hotel Sogo All Stars and Filinvest Dream Makers. Pascals won by 7 points over the Hunks.
